I answer to myself, the problem was that the rule parameters dialog was rendered under the tools bar, so it was not visible, so weird that in that moment all dialogs was rendered there, thank you to have tried to help me

This is the bitter part, working with proprietary software. First they let you taste the apple, and later you need to pay. This does not happen only with solibri but for other software vendors it is even much worse.
Therefore in this case you will need to switch your workflows to other means, whether it is Navisworks or even BIMcollabZoom. But keep one thing in mind, that the other software someday in the future will also put you in the same situation. Then the story begins again for a new software search…

While doing a thorough search I have found out that this happened also last month with the previous version of Solibri.

We have amended the usage of wildcard characters (* and ?) functionality to also support the use of backslash (* and ?). When using the backslash, users can search for values that include * or ? character, instead of them being recognized as wildcards.

Yes, basically it is * and ? as already mentioned.

@mjkayali Regarding the suggested coding possibilities I guess the Custom Information API might be a workaround atm, however I think you can also achieve a lot with nested classifications if necessary. Although what would be an intended purpose for !x aka a Not Operator which can’t be done with via First/Best matching classification?

Could you elaborate this a bit more? Moreover I am curious how the solution might look for a custom information which returns a boolean value if a component has been checked at all or if if was missed out. So not just if the element is causing troubles and therefore has issues, but also if it is does not hava any issues but was taken into consideration for the checking routine.

The fix for this problem is included in the next release version.

In this case tbh not really, as the goal here is to map almost all the elements in a specific customer classification - which is still changing a lot. I guess using multiple classifications to break it down into pieces first might always be a good approach but in this case I needed/wanted to have it all in one to have a better overview and flexibility.

So yeah I think the idea of an “Apply” button which also prevents that changes automatically go into effect while the window is still open might be a good idea. Plus, btw when you have the window open and then change tab it just closes without any notice and all your changes are gone without any warning. This should not happen as well!

I have not tried opening the exported bcf with any other software. Do you have a program in mind that I can test with?

The size of the bcf-file makes me think it is an import issue, it looks as if the import just stops at around 1/5.

Still getting the same results, I had one presentation with 424 slides that imported just fine and another with 120 that only got 20 in total.

EDIT: I tried using BCF 2.1, got 106 out of 120 total. No apparent common property causing the 14 left to be excluded.
