That Wordpress site was taken down, because a lot of its contents was outdated. The content from the site should be found via our Online Help Center to a great extent, so I would recommend starting from there. 🙂

There were a few more specific topics that were covered in the Wordpress site that have not been transferred to our Help Center. If there is such a topic you are interested in that you can’t find from the Help Center, please let us know, and we can see what we can do with the help of our archives. With the disclaimer, though, that the material might in any case be outdated. 🙂

Only filter the unhandeld/undefined issues in the checking results.
In this example i only want to see the 696 open issues between Wall and Window.

Hello everyone,

On Wednesday we have released the Beta version of our new release (9.12.6).
This version includes the fixes and improvements to the BCF-API communication.
We’ve included a new indication of issue sending fails - a new icon is displayed in the issues table and the issues won’t duplicate anymore.

Depending then on the synchronization mode, sending the issue will be tried again, if you are using Automatic Synchronization. If you are not using Automatic Synchronization, then the issue will be sent again, when you press the “Mark As Ready” button.

Another thing that was fixed was the duplicated color specification for the same component. This might occur, if the Solibri model has the same IFC model imported twice, e.g. different versions of it, and components of both models appear colored in a viewpoint. This might happen also, if two components have the same IFC GUID in one IFC file. Now only one color definition is sent.

These improvements will help in similar problems with other servers as well.

If you would like to join the Beta program and test these fixes, you can do so by following the instructions on this link.

After the beta phase, these fixes will be included in the public release which should be available around the 18th of May.

I tried again, with the same BCF file, and it worked. I don’t know what the problem was. Probably it got solved because I restarted Revit. who knows, but thanks.

Replying to this rather old topic as I wanted to ask you how you used the mentioned mouse recorder for creating the rules as I imagine that adding new rules for different entities is difficult to achieve with this automatization task. Anyhow could you elaborate this a bit more?

@jeroenkoomen Thanks for the Tipp, i tried that as well. But as @Sebastian-Nybäck said it thought maybe there is a way so that the RAM usage can be optimized more. But it seems that the only option for now would to install more RAM but because I´m working on a laptop that will not be possible.

@YasmineD I understand, but @Solibrians why does it filter the rules per rows in an “AND” statement? Other rules behave as “OR” statement.
At the moment I do not see solution if I have to use 2 different classification.

Doors
When checking if a door has the appropriate width for escape routes, it is the nett width of the door (distance from inner frame until the door leaf in 90°) instead of the total opening for that door. Checking the total opening is not very precise, since there are different door frames (thicker or wider) which would influence the results.

Area/Person (Fläche/Nutzer)
This makes sense more for office buildings where it is regulated how many workers can be located per m². This then influences all other factors such as door width.
But with residential buildings (in Austria and Germany) it is not the m² that decides on how many people are going to escape, but more the number of rooms. So a living room with 30m² will have a different number than an office with that area.

There are additional details that are country specific, but I don’t want to open pandoras box 😊

I have tried this also b ut in IFC these components are as IfcFlowSegment. The problem appear in the definition of what is horizontal and what is vertical. A pipe at exactly 45° is vertical or horizontal or neither?
