I know am late to this but why can’t you use classification to define the floor you want to check and place it in selection basket so that in the checking view you can check only selection ?

You can try the bounding box but I would not totally rely on those values but rather try to go with the door parameters as much as possible.

Seems like it is always happening if I already have one Solibri instance open. Any possibilities to prevent this?

We’re having the same issues with our Company extension and layout sets. This bug is on Solibri’s todo list for almost 2 years I guess. Last update I’ve got from Solibri HQ about this issue (september 2023), it’s still an open and active issue on Solibri’s list.
I have my hopes on the ability to share Roles and corresponding Layout Sets through the integrations function. It didn’t made it to last release, where classifications, ito’s and rules where made available through integrations.

Please try these steps:

Clear cache of your browser. Try using incognito/private mode in the browser. Try using different browser.

There is a simple fix. We try get it to the next release.

That is not possible within Solibri.

If you don’t have access to the native files, I would recommend using the program Simplebim. Blender with the BlenderBIM add-on is a very powerfull tool that can do the same, but is not easy to learn.

If you have access to the native files, I would recommend using that option. A lot of the times you can reduce the filesize by not exporting unnecessary properties, or exporting in IFC 4.0 instead of 2x3.

@jnoordzij I am having this same issue - could you explain what you did to stop this from happening?

@HechtwieFisch One thing you can do is that you create a specific rule for these doors, if you can filter them out separately, and then parameterize the rule according to the dimensions that you measure from the door. This works, if there are a few different kinds of instances of this door.

I had to disable the other GPU though. I tried to force the iGPU through the Graphics Settings in Windows 10, but Solibri always uses the AMD Card if it’s not disabled. Do you by any chance know, which .exe I have to create the Graphics Settings rule for, so Solibri uses the internal GPU? I tried Solibri.exe, java.exe and javaw.exe.

Thanks. Are there any tips and hints on the best way to monitor the resolution of clashes?

Is it better to add presentations to the same smc, or create one presentation that updates each review, and summarises outstanding issues?

I got it working as i wanted with the SOL/230 rule and a classification to support the rule.
