If your laptop is having alternative card, try using that.

The problem is probably that there are too many characters in the text (title or description—or both). I often encounter synchronization errors when too many elements are affected, as this usually results in the text/description being too long. Apparently, the maximum number of characters in BIMcollab is lower than in Solibri. In my opinion, this should be adjusted or reduced to prevent synchronization errors.

@BvanDalsum We have already done that, but thanks for the tip.
For some reason, Windows or Solibri does not recognize the Nvidia GPU as standard. With new laptops I have to configure it manually like the way you described…

Can confirm that this issue still happens. Also inconsistencies between classification showing classified and ITO made with same classification as column showing unclassified…

Might be or may be not.

I don’t know another way to do it, efficiently and without problems on your models, even large ones.
You can try it with ifcopenshell, might work, but not sure it’s stable enough to use it.
If you got other stuff, i’ll try them out to see the differences, especially on large files.

For mine, i’ve tested it out on large files, mep, mechanical, architectural, and i got no loss of geometry or data.

It’s agnostic to versions.

And i’ve developped other things aroung :

extract / delete things, types, or levels slice by level Compare version 1 and version 2 to retrieve the IFC model of differences only (with colour coding) -> new, modified, deleted

Using Revit 2024 in this case. But got the same results with Revit 2025 using the inbuild PDF exporter. When using Print to PDF or a plugin the PDF does work fine with Solibri.

To add all components to all viewpoints would be preferable in my opinion!
I’m really looking forward to getting this feature sorted 🙂
