You could use the Above with Offset option - putting a distance to offset the original object effectively checking a wider area above.

My goal is to check if there’s a free area around a bolt fastener, please have a look to the following picture:

Solibri should verify that there is a free cylindrical space around the bolt. Cylinder diameter equal to twice the bolt head and cylinder height equal to the length of the bolt in order to perform an easy installation on site.

@Ricardo the latest one … but I realized that it might be due to the fact that this is only happening to one of the models in the smc that this one was probably originally sent to Solibri directly via the AC live connection, which would make sense but I can’t verify as I have not yet gotten a confirmation from the author.

I think this same case was sent to our support as well. In that file, the area unit is registered as sguare_foot in the IFCUNITASSIGNMENT. Solibri uses those units. I remember that one particular property referring to square meters as unit, but Solibri does not take that into account, since it is not listed in IFCUNITASSIGNMENT. I have an inkling that only the units listed in IFCUNITASSIGNMENT should be used in an IFC file, but cannot confirm that right now.

Often the Proxy option is enabled in the proxy settings of Solibri.
Go to File > settings > proxy settings
Make sure option is not checked

Could you send a small zipped sample autorun file that is problematic.

i am working on egress analysis and import model from revit with ifc format but some times doesnt read it and i have problems with compartmentation in egress analysis
