I assume your classificaiton works on a best match and not on a first match and does not allow multiple matches. But still, are you sure this worked in one of the last versions? By classifying “All” including the parent components you will automatically always get the children - no matter how you classify the kids. So excluding only the childs does not really have an effect as long as you always include the parent and afaik this has been the case for a while.

What you can do is to avoid double trouble is excluding the parents (e.g. CW) and only including the children (Panels/Members/…) you want in you classification. So then excluding those child parts in rules should work. Though it might has other side effects.

have you tried changing the Operator from excluded components to “contains” instead of “none of”? This should exclude all walls classified as 22 Gasbeton

It changed. I can also not move my PDF drawings anymore. The ‘Pick a dimension’ tool doesn’t work anymore.

Also another incompatible file I got today, exported from Revit 2021, is encoded the same way as the following line illustrates:

I have to check if I can share a smaller model, but I guess it’s pretty obvious.

It’s not that I need to have narrow columns, it’s more that the width is not stored and resizing them becomes a pain when working on classifications where you usually open and close multiple times. Anyhow, will also keep the unfocusing in mind as well and try it out the next time I observe this behaviour. Many thanks again for the detailed investigation.
