Thank you for your answers ! I tried the new BCF-API connection by choosing “BIMcollab new” and everything’s fine. I just updated my issues and all my images came back.

Not maybe ideal but the only option i see is to use multiple classifications and add more columns in the ITO? This way you should be able to have multiple links in the same row for the component/container:

Tip 1:

Taking the information from the nearest space should be possible with following ITO columns:

Tip 3:
Classifications can be used to fill in your custom data “the room number and information from part of the ifc area”.
In ITO you can have the classification as ITO column and make the column editable.

Hi there, for weeks I had performance issues and freezes with my new MacBook (macOS Catalina) running SOLIBRI Office in version 9.10.6 and further on. Even the Update installer freezes. I want you to know that for me after quitting an now deinstalling the “Magnet” Window Manager systemextension, Solibri runs perfect (stable an fast). Hope that helps other Macbook users with comparable problems.

I have started everything from scratch. Loaded all IFC files; defined the ressourse path and saved the rolle; loaded RuleSets and Classifications; created a presentation and downloaded the issues from BIMcollab; started adapting some RuleSets…and saved an SMC on my Local PC (not via VPN on my server) and closed. Tomorrow wanted to catch up with the lost time today and start with the issues…

After my cold beer, I was curious if my RuleSet had been properly saved…and what do you know? The file cannot be opened anymore!
So today was a TOTALY wasted day… 9hours of work for NOTHING…NADA…

That seems to be the case here as well. now I understand the problem at least.

To my knowlegde it is not listed in the IfcSite in Solibri, therefore it is not possible.
In the Position tab of the IfcSite you get only the geographical coordinates.
This could be an improvement to validate this parameter.

We looked into the logs from another instance but similar case and found that:

Anywhere starts in case of SSC connection errors BCF Server cannot be retrieved from SSC in case of such a connection error The connection error is HTTP 401 Unauthorized

It would be good to:

Test signing in to solution.solibri.com, to make sure there are no issues with the credentials

If that is successful, then:

Try removing the “.solibri” folder (located at C:\Users<user name>) and sign in again

Please try these out and let us know how it goes.
